At the end of the current football season BSS will be proudly taking over and running T3 professional club Bangkok FC.

This will be the first time ever that a youth academy has taken over a professional team. BSS will be in charge of the Bangkok FC first team as well as the new Bangkok FC Academy at U19s, U17s and U15s and U13s. The Bangkok FC and BSS coaches will be working very closely together to ensure both our BSS and Bangkok FC players are on the same long term development plan. Our future goal is to eventually rebrand all our BSS teams into becoming Bangkok FC and guiding presenting opportunities to all our players into professional football careers.

BSS is the only International Football academy in Bangkok that offers a direct professional pathway for its academy players.

BSS have recently started a new Japanese academy team playing under the name of FC YAMATO. Players selected for the squad had to go through a competitive trial in order to be selected for the squad.

The U13’s FC YAMATO squad is an 11 a side squad which will be playing competitive pre-season matches (which included a recent game against Muangthong Utds Academy), before embarking on the league season which starts in September where they will be playing in the MOL Thai Youth League.

FC YAMATO consists of Japanese players who are born in 2006 or 2005. The squad trains 3 times a week, on Wednesday, Saturday along with a match each Sunday giving the players the very best possible development opportunities

If you want any further information on any of our Academy team, including FC Yamato, please email  or call 02 149 4647

We have recently started our two new teams in the 2010 age groups, 2010 FC and 2010 UTD ready for the 2018-19 Academy season.

This will be the start of the young players development in football and for the boys who make the teams we will be happy to start that process for them. All players had to go through a trial process in order to be selected for one of the two squads.

The teams start with pre- season training and competitive matches on Saturday and Sunday each week along with optional mid-week academy training session.

We look forward to the season ahead and wish all our new 2010 players the best of luck in the start of their footballing journey.

Our BSS 2005 team went to the Chelsea NIST tournament in preparation for the JSSL 7s in Singapore next weekend, stepping back onto the 7 aside pitch despite playing 11 aside for the last 2-3 months.

With players still away due to the school holidays and unavailable due to sickness, the team was down to only 7 players with no subs for the whole day. Despite this, and the fact they were playing up an age group the boys were still feeling confident, drawing Chelsea, SSV & Kuiburi Tigers B in their group. Following wins of 5-1, 1-0 & 3-0 BSS progressed through to the semi finals against Kuiburi Tigers A. This seemed a much harder game where BSS had to step up and scored 2 great goals to get into the final. The final was a very tight and competitive match against The Eagles Academy who had travelled 3 hours to play in the tournament. The game was up and down at both ends but it was BSS who came away 1-0 winners after a great free kick.

A great day out and well deserved with only 1 goal conceded from 5 games. A fantastic well done to all the boys and hopefully more of the same next week. Congratulations.

Our BSS U12s girls team had the opportunity to play in a U12’s tournament at NIST recently. The tournament saw 4 girl’s teams come together for a morning of fun and yet competitive 7 a side matches.
With a round robin followed by a final the girls got to play 4 matches, being beaten in the final by a strong Nongchok team. The team performed extremely well in all matches and should be proud of the days performance.

If you are interested in joining our girls sessions please come along for a trial at TC football Centre on Sundays as follows:

9am - 10:15am (For girls born in 2007 and 2008)

10.15am – 11.30am (For girls born in 2005 and 2006)

Each year all our academy teams from the age of U8s to U12s participate in Bangkok’s biggest and most competitive youth football league. The season is soon coming to an end and we want to congratulate all of our teams for competing in the league and having some successful results.

The BAL league consists of some of the top Thai youth teams from around Bangkok and presents a great experience and challenge each week for our stage 1 BSS academy teams to be a part of. We believe this is a key aspect of our young players development to be under controlled pressure and matching up against strong technical opponents each week.

The Bangkok Academy league will soon be finishing with the 1 day CUP DAY and we wish all teams the best of luck.

Congratulations to our BSS 2004 FC team on emerging victorious over the BSS International Tournament held over 2 days in December. Saturday saw BSS play their first 4 games in the group stage in which all games where won conceding only 1 goal along the way. Sunday would see BSS play the last two group games which they would go onto win making them top of the group and going straight into the semifinals against the 2nd place from groups B.

In the semi-finals BSS 2004 FC would face off against a strong GFA Japan, which they ended up winning with a fantastic 5-1 result. The final of the U13’s was BSS 2004 FC vs DKI JAKARTA a select team from the top academies in Jakarta who had also had a great weekend, not losing a game over the two days.  The game was evenly matched with both teams having chances but failing to score.  With minutes to go BSS struck to make it 1 -0 before getting an all-important second goal in the final seconds to seal the win and crown BSS 2004 FC as CHAMPIONS.

Congratulations to our U13s on winning the tournament and for all the other teams for their high level of footballing ability in which made for a great football spectacle over the weekend.

Congratulations to our BSS 2002 team on emerging victorious over the two day BSS International Tournament. With teams traveling from all over Asia our team would play group games and then go into the semifinal if successful in the group stage. The 2002 FC team finished top of their group after 7 matches losing only one game (against our BSS 2003 team). On the Sunday the squad played a evenly matched semi-final that finished in a draw and went to the dreaded 3 v 3 knockout.  After a long and tiring 3v3, BSS finally scored the goal to see them through to the final. The final saw our 2002 FC team play against GFA Japan from Singapore, a well-known and very strong opponent. The final was well matched, tough with some great football being played by both teams before our 2002 FC emerged as CHAMPIONS with a 1-0 win.

We congratulate our 2002 FC team on winning the tournament and for all the other academies for their high level of football which made for a great tournament over the weekend.

U15’s EIS Invitational Tournament

Our BSS U15’s recently took part in the Ekkamai Invitational Tournament, held at Ekkamai International School.

Our U15 boys had a great day, winning the majority of their matches, and securing their spot in the final of the tournament against Ascot. The final match was a thrilling but tough match which resulted in a 1-1 draw.

Players decided the match through a penalty shootout. After being deadlocked during normal time, teams were once again inseparable during the penalties. BSS ran out eventual winners with an unbelievable score of 22-21.

Well done to the boys for holding their nerve!!!

BSS Arena 10 Development vs. Infinito Soccer Schools

On Saturday 4th February, our development sessions at Arena 10 took part in friendly matches against Infinito soccer schools.

This was a great opportunity for the young development players to experience being part of a team and allowing them to use the techniques and skills they have been acquiring, in a match-like situation.

Age appropriate formats of 3v3, 5v5 and 6v6 meant players had the opportunity to make lots of decisions in a friendly, yet competitive, match environment.

Our Saturday morning Arena 10 classes train on a weekly basis and have groups from children born in 2011 up to those born in 2004. Players develop new techniques and skills in a fun yet challenging environment. Techniques and skills they put into practice in weekly skill, conditioned and small sided games, and during monthly friendly matches against outside opposition.

We would like to give a big thank you to Infinito Soccer Schools for joining us this month and creating the match opportunity for the young players.

Coach Dang’s UK Trip with Chang and Everton FC

Recently, Chang Beer hosted an Everton Football Club Junior Cup U13 competition in Thailand with 24 Thai youth teams taking part. The competition is an annual tournament with full support from the Academy Program at Everton FC, the objective being to boost both development of youth players and coaches in Thailand. The winners of the competition receive an all expenses paid trip to the UK from sponsors Chang (Thai Beverage PLC).

During the trip to the UK, the traveling team, and Dang, visited Manchester, Liverpool, and London, both playing and watching football. Training sessions were held with Everton's academy staff at their training ground, Finch Farm, and friendly fixtures played against academy teams from Liverpool, Everton, Hudersfield Town and Crystal Palace.

As one of Chang's two main coaching instructors and clinicians Coach Dang's role was similar to those he serves at domestic level; overseeing the technical and theory transfer, and acting as the coaching link between the Everton academy staff and Thai staff.

This is the second year that Dang has been afforded such a role and he views the position as 'a great honor' and 'privilege'.

Before leaving Dang said that 'the excitement towards learning from, and picking brains with my UK counterparts is any coach's wishful thoughts and ambitions. However, being able to come back and apply such knowledge to our Bangkok Soccer School players would be the ultimate treat'.

JSSL Singapore International Tournament 2014

The JSSL Singapore tournament is fast becoming the biggest tournament that is held within Asia and this years competition had over 120 teams competing in it. In each age group that we participated in there were 20 teams competing for the title of Asia best team.

Please see the below results for each age group:

Under 9's
Our Under 9's finished second in their group and so made it through to the cup competition but couldn't quite make it out of the tough cup group on the second day.

Under 11's
Despite having a young team we won our group on the first day and made it to through to the semifinal of the cup before being beaten by an own goal and a last minute breakaway goal to the eventual winners, so we finished 4th place in the cup competition.

Under 13's
The Under 13’s finished second in their group on the first day and so were also through to the cup competition.  On the second day we made it through to the semifinal but were beaten, going out in the 3 v 3 to the eventual winners despite having dominant play throughout.

Under 15's
The Under 15’s finished second in their group on the first day and were crowned CHAMPIONS on the second day, retaining their crown playing great football over the course of the tournament.

For all our teams to get through to the cup competition was a fantastic achievement in itself.  This was further back up by BSS as an Academy coming third in the Paul Parker competition which awards points for how far each of the Academy gets within the Cup competition.  Considering we only entered four teams whilst those Academies that finished above us all had teams in every age group show how well our players did.

Please click the link HERE to be redirected to our Facebook page to see a collection of photos from the tournament.

We look forward to entering this tournament again next year and we hope to take more of our teams along.

We look forward to continuing our relationship with West Ham and are pleased to say that one of our players has been invited back during the holiday periods to join their Academy whilst continuing to train with BSS year round.  Please see a selection of photos from all the different training courses that ran HERE from our BSS Facebook page.

Asia Pacific Football Academy

Our relationship with APFA grows stronger with 2 of our players, Toon Phisitsak and Ryosuke Shimizu joining APFA as full time scholars.

For those not aware APFA are an elite soccer academy based in New Zealand with an association with Premiership football club Chelsea FC. APFA’s training and player pathways throughout the world give our players the opportunity to be seen by scouts worldwide.  Whether it is arranging professional trials or being seen by US colleges and Universities scouts, APFA pathways ensure that players gain the maximum possible exposure in the world wide footballing community.

We wish both our current players all the best in New Zealand and look forward to seeing them in August when we are organizing a trip to New Zealand for our current Academy players.

Grand Soccer Pro Invitation Cup

For two Sunday’s in May our Academy teams took part in the Grand Soccer Pro Invitation cup.

Each age group was contested between the best local Soccer Academies and the format took the form of a round robin with the top two teams playing a final to decide the eventual champions.

On Sunday the 18th May the Under 8’s, 10’s and 12’s each competed in the tournament.  Our Under 12’s came second in the group but were unable to win the final match and finished runners up.  In the Under 8’s and Under 10’s our teams finished as champions dominating the tournament from start to finish.

On Sunday the 25th May the Under 9's, Under 11's and Under 13's participated in the Invitation Cup. With our teams strong favourites in this tournament we simply were not able to play at our best.  The Under 11’s eventually came forth; the Under 13’s finished second, but our Under Under 9’s performed fantastically despite missing players and finished as Champions.

Well done to all players that participated.  It was great to see such a high standard of play throughout the two days and to see our team compete against such quality opposition.

Academy Under 14’s Winners at the JSSL Singapore 7’s international Tournament

Our Under 14’s, without a recognized goalkeeper and playing some strong teams from around the region, dominated the tournament on both days without conceding a single goal. The team progressed to the cup competition after the first day and made it through to the Cup knock out stage. In both the semifinal and final, with both games being against teams expecting to win the tournament, the evenly contested games finished 0-0. In both the semifinal and the final the matches went to the 3 v 3 extra time format. In the semifinal the game went back and forth before the Under 14’s won possession and captain Soichiro scored with a breakaway goal. In the final itself, despite the game once again going to 2 v 2 play continued for some time before once again our captain and player of the tournament Soichiro won the ball and scored on the counter attack.

Our Under 10’s started brightly on the first day in a very tough group that included the eventual winners of the age group. The team won their opening three games before a 1-0 defeat to JSSL Arsenal Wilshere. Going through to the Cup competition the Under 10’s were confident they could improve on the first days results but after dominating in their first match lost 1-0 to a breakaway goal that was the last kick of the day. This coupled with the increasing heat and not having any subs, saw the team play well but unable to get the results they wanted in order to get through to the knock out stage. A big well done to all players that before this tournament had not played together as a team, as the change in age cutoff date meant that the team consisted of players from 3 different Academy teams and from 2 different age groups.

Well done to all players for a great tournament.

Team Program starts with a BANG !!

Training took place at the Leyton Orient training ground. In addition we also went to see West Ham United play in a premiership game of football, various stadiums tours (including the Arsenal Emirates stadium and West Ham United’s Boleyn ground in Upton Park. The players also had a sightseeing day where they took an open top sightseeing bus tour around and through Central London and take a trip on the famous London Eye.

Our last game in this tour vs West Ham United Academy U13/14 ended with 3-2 to West Ham. Throughout the entire 80 minutes, BSS boys worked their hardest, helped each other with their best ability they can, and enjoyed the unforgettable moment. BSS are very proud of all of our boys. Big well-done to everyone!

This really was a fantastic experience for the select few players who went.

Bangkok Soccer Schools launches

It is with great excitement our coaching team launches BANGKOK SOCCER SCHOOLS. The Bangkok Soccer School concept has been developed with the aim of improving certain aspects of our program such as flexibility with direction, working partners and most importantly, our syllabus.

The new direction with Bangkok Soccer Schools allows us more flexibility in where we are going within our unique environment of Thailand and with what we are trying to achieve for our players. This move will allow us to work with new and exciting people, including outside professional clubs and coaches and to evaluate new coaching methods with a view to implementing the best of them here. It will also allow us more flexibility with our training syllabus, allowing us to tailor lessons, coaching courses and programs specifically for our market and our player’s needs.

We welcome you to tour our website to find out more about us along with all the sessions and courses we are able to offer to all players. If you have any questions or queries about anything you see please feel free to contact us on for an immediate reply. We look forward to seeing you at our training in the coming weeks.
